Meet Tori
Tori was a Critical Care Nurse for 15 years and then followed her passion for creativity into a Masters in Illustration. This is where she discovered the benefits of using creativity to connect people within communities. She was fascinated by the growing body of research showing the positive impact of creativity on a persons mental and physical health. In addition, when this creative activity is done as a collaborative group we develop connections and reduce isolation and loneliness. This started her journey into creative health and developing her unique services, with the aim of improving peoples mental and physical health, connecting community groups and providing participants with the knowledge and skills to support their creative wellbeing.
Tori is also a trained Mindfulness facilitator and has integrated mindfulness practice within the creative workshops. The practice of mindfulness has proven benefits to reduce stress, anxiety and boost attentiveness and emotional resilience. The practice of mindfulness and creativity blend seamlessly to promote a flow state, a state of relaxation and heightened concentration.
These unique workshops are a fusion of Tori’s research and passionate mission to support those with stress, anxiety and feelings of isolation. Creating a safe, inclusive space for people to connect through creativity.
